On Friday 28th April, we gathered together to celebrate our patron saint, St Joseph.
We started off the day with a whole school service where we looked at the life of St Joseph and what a hardworking man he was. We thought about the qualities he had as a person and how we can try every day to live as St Joseph did.
Then we partnered with another class and worked together to decorate plant pots to take home. We used lolly sticks and ribbon and the older child helped the younger class friend to do this.
Then we shared a whole school playtime to celebrate this special day.
The children took home their plant pots with a bag of soil and a seed so they could plant them at home. This was so they can watch their flower grow just like the love St Joseph had for Jesus, Mary and God.
