Hello from Year 6 in Ashford, Kent!
Unbelievably, we arrived ahead of time and after taking our bags off the coach, we had a brief walk of the site. Soon after the children did their first activity called Nightline. This task challenged the children to complete an obstacle course – while blindfolded! The children had to climb over tyres, through a tunnel and even through mud.
After this, we played some mini games including splat and finding their partners using only their hearing and then ate dinner.
We concluded the day by competing in Mini Olympics. The events consisted of: sprinting, space hoppers and a cat walk where the children performed their sassiest acts!
Before bed it was time for showers and to recharge for our first full day tomorrow. We are looking forward to another sunny day on Tuesday!
