Welcome

Hello and welcome to Baptist class!

In Baptist class we help the children grow into independent learners!

Reading and phonics is a big part of the children’s lives in our class and we support them to become more fluent readers by hearing them read and sharing and discussing stories as a class.

In addition to this, we also develop the children’s sense of number and counting through regular maths lessons and activities. We also love being creative and have inquiring minds. In art we mix colours, paint pictures, make sculptures and do printing. In DT we build things and understand how to make different meals. In science, history and geography we are curious about the world past and present and ask questions!

In Baptist class, we also develop your child’s understanding of their spiritual life through Class Worship and discussions and stories in RE.

We are a loving and caring place where we help your child reach their full potential.
