Last week was a busy week at St Joseph’s. Year 6 children went to watch The Lion King in the West End as a celebration for all of their hard work towards their SATS exams. They had a fantastic time and were mesmerised by the acting. We are very proud of the children for the focus and effort during their SATS.
Reception went on a school trip to Albion Primary School, where they visited the Forest School. This was to enhance their learning on the current topic, All Creatures Great and Small. They enjoyed being able to hunt for animals, talk about how to care for them and apply their learning to real life. The children even got to feed the chickens! It was a fantastic experience for the children to encounter these animals in real life. We are very lucky to have strong links with local schools and thank Albion School for allowing us to use their Forest School.
Take a look at our pictures to see both of these events.
