Reception classes visit Dockhead Fire Station

On Monday 8th November 2021, both John Paul and Peter class had the exciting opportunity to visit our local fire station. The topic this term in reception is: What happens when…? Within this topic the children have been looking at what happens when people go to work and the different types of jobs that adults do. Therefore, visiting Dockhead fire station, perfectly enabled our reception children to see for themselves exactly what happens in a real fire station and to explore the role of a Firefighter. All of the children had a fantastic time!
