World book day 2023

On Friday 3^rd March, we celebrated World Book Day. The theme was ‘Uniquely You’ and the children dressed up in outfits that they felt represented them. The children spent the day reading stories and understanding the joy of reading. The older children had the opportunity to work with the younger children as they became authors during our class swap. The children worked in pairs to create their own comics together, based on a story they knew or on a story they created together. It was brilliant to see the collaboration between the older and younger children. The older children shone as they lived out the gospel value of being caring towards others. The day was enjoyed by the children, and adults, and we cannot wait to see the joy stories bring to the children’s lives!
