Covid Update Attendance Expectations
Attendance Expectations from January 2021
During the period of national lockdown, schools should allow only vulnerable children and the children of critical workers to attend. This means our setting continues to offer face to face provision for eligible pupils. All other pupils and students should not attend and should learn remotely until February half term.
Attendance
Parents should ensure that their children arrive at school on time, in correct school uniform and ready to learn.
Regular attendance is essential to the all round development of the child and they should be allowed to take full advantage of educational opportunities available to them.
Each child has their attendance and punctuality monitored.
Pupils should be in the school playground before 8.55am ready to join their line
and should be collected promptly at
3.15pm. The playground is supervised from 8.40am.
All pupil absences are recorded; parents should contact the school on the first day of absence and provide an explanatory letter on the child’s return to school.
