We believe extra curricular activities allow schools to provide children with a wide range of fun, quality learning experiences in many areas from sport to computing.
At St. Joseph’s we aim to provide a variety of after school clubs to help our children develop socially, emotionally and to acquire new skills and knowledge. In the longer term, we hope that in providing such activities, the children will realise their interests and talents, broaden their experiences and choose to follow some of these in their adult life.
We currently employ a fully qualified coach to run after school football clubs for Key Stage Two children. Children in Key Stage 2 are chosen for our school football team, who play league matches on Saturday mornings.
We regularly make use of funded initiatives from professional companies such as the English National Opera and the Globe Theatre to provide many of our children with fun, high quality drama, theatrical and singing experiences.
