Meet our Green Team

Our Green Team is made up of one representative from each class (Reception to Year 6).

This year our main project is to complete the redesign of our rooftop garden. Unfortunately, due to COVID- 19, our Green Team were unable to carry out this project last year. For October half-term homework, our pupils had to generate ideas for how we could use our rooftop garden more during curriculum time and what we can include in this area, e.g. flowers, garden furniture etc. A winner was chosen from each class, and this child became the Green Team representative.

Green Team members are responsible for recycling all paper and cardboard from across the school and ensuring that electrical devices are switched off when not required. The Green Team carry out their duties every day and ensure all recycling in class is collected at the end of the week to be placed into the larger recycling bins.
