SJRC Sports Day 2023 was one to remember! On the three hot afternoons, we witnessed highly competitive competition, teamwork and excitement! The parents / carers and family members starting cheering from the moment the classes danced in!
The races were, at times, too close to call! The children were all wearing bands to represent which house they are in. Teamwork was at the centre of the enjoyment, across all three afternoons. It was difficult to identify which house was cheering the loudest! Mr Coffey’s commentary allowed all to keep up to date with the events as they happened! We were given regular updates on which house was in the lead.
As always, one of the highlights for the children was the Adults Race! Thank you to all those who took it in their stride! At SJRC, we are extremely proud of all of our competitors, supporters and race winners! All of the children should be proud of their dedication and hard work that enabled them to do their very best in the events.
